has been researching, testing, and perfecting the modern-day
catcher’s helmet, introduced as the original MVP Helmet in 1996. Now
in 2022, we’re introducing the 5th generation of our game changing
product, the all new MVP5.

Four years of extensive development has lead to the creation of a
new industry standard for both professional catchers and everyone
else grinding their way to the top. The MVP5 is packed with new
advancements in protection and technology to take your game to the
next level. More than 60 years of company product innovation,
collaborating with dozens of pro players, designers, engineers, and
independent test labs has all lead us to Deflexion, the latest
protective creation out of the All-Star Test Lab, and featured
proudly in our new MVP5.

We’re also introducing an all new version of our popular I-Bar Cage
for the MVP5 – it’s better than ever with a new stealth graphite
finish. The game is being played harder and faster every year, and
back swings are a serious threat to player safety. With the advent
of “launch angle swing-paths” we’ve developed our proprietary BSP
(Back Swing Protection) technology. The advanced engineers in the
All-Star Test Lab have built a one-of-a-kind bat-swing rig to study
the effect of dangerous back swings. Our next generation cage is
designed to extend past the ear for protection against unintended
impacts. The new shape also enhances the structural stability of the
helmet while improving overall weight distribution and balance for a
secure and comfortable fit.

Back for the MVP5 is a new and improved version of our classic
Air-Mesh Padding. By coupling it with redesigned laser cut foam,
we’ve enhanced breathability, comfort, and shock absorption.

Our all-new Deflexion technology is made of durable TPR Shock
Hammocks placed along the forehead and chin to isolate your dome
from energy caused by direct impacts. The best way to protect a
player is to disperse energy from direct impacts, and Deflexion is
